New office & warehouse

Due to our expansion and stock additions especially over the last couple of years we found it increasingly difficult operating from our old Caring Lane warehouses, especially over the summer months when multiple trucks would swamp the yard! After searching for a year to find the perfect spot we finally settled on a new warehouse and offices just up the road (less than 10 mins in fact) in Harrietsham. Still J8 from the M20, much easier to find a lovely location.

Our new warehouse boasts many new facilities greater space for storage and prep, The offices even have central heating! plenty of parking and we can see in artics all day long.

Phonophobia Flying high with D&B J series at the London O2 Arena

August remains as busy as ever especially with us providing full audio production to an event at londons o2 arena, Arenas are always a challenge for sound especially with us using one whole side of the venue whilst other shows were loading in behind the blacks.

Phonophobia’s very own designer Mark Chant decided to deploy a comprehensive d&b system for foh and monitors consisting of 16 J8 8 J12 8 J sub for main hangs, the floor and fills were made up of d&b Q1 /7 and Q sub and the stage systems consisting of C4 as side fills and max 15 monitors. Acts such as Akon were very pleased with the foh and stage sound.

Mark said “It was a very tight rigging window for a large system, with round the clock rehearsals meaning some of us were up for 24 hours straight at a time, which left our team taking any possible sleep breaks in a tour bus parked just outside the arena, everyone did really well”.

Obvious crew choices were Becky Richardson behind the M7cl at FOH, and Matt Easingwood behind the Crest Xmon monitor console, Radio tec Chris Gymer supported on stage by Lee Woodger and the entire audio production lead by Mark Chant.

We are excited to announce that we have taken delivery of a pair of line array towers which are now ready to hire.
The self lifting system enables one man to set up each mast with ease.

Maximum height of 6.4 meters and a safe working load of 400 kilos makes these towers the perfect choice for any indoor or outdoor event where flying speakers is preferred.

Towers will be supplied with a chainblock and bag.
